On the 9th of October, 2023, Reverend Mark Leach stood on the stops of the Anglican cathedral in Sydney and waved an Israeli flag on the edge of a pro-Palestinian rally, where chants of 'Kill the Jews' were heard. Reverend Leach presented a talk titled 'Never again' to #Churchandstate. He shared from Esther 4:13-14, reminding listeners that, as Christians, we also need to accept the privilege and the risk to partner with God in speaking and standing for what is right, no matter what the issue is. He reminded the conference that God has a plan to redeem our history and use it for his purposes. Mark spoke about the movement 'Never Again is Now' and how Christians can get involved to stand against anti-Semitism, hatred and fear.
