Michelle Pearse, CEO of the Australian Christian Lobby, addressed #Churchandstate on the challenge of being a Christian in Australia. Michelle shared some of the challenges the the ACL has been facing in the first few months of 2024 such as legislation challenging the right of Christian schools to employ Christian teachers, decriminalisation of prostitution, and legislation attacking free speech and personal freedom under the guise of 'anti-discrimination'. Michelle called listeners to counter fear by remembering who they are in Christ, and to be like David, Daniel and Esther. She put out a challenge to sow seeds into the fallow ground of our nation that will bring forth fruit for God's kingdom.
