Opening the afternoon session at #Churchandstate, Dr Terry Harding outlined three progressive idols that destroy society. Baal (rejecting the One True God), Ishtar (sexualisation of culture) & Moloch (child sacrifice) have been evident through history, presenting in different forms, cultures and locations. The introduction of the Gospel and advance of Christianity saw paganism retreating through history. But in recent times, nations rejecting God leaves a void. The demons that have been expelled return worse than before. To see a change in the culture, we need to turn back to God, humble ourselves and pray and spread the Good News, knowing that ultimately God wins!
