On Monday night, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed the deaths of four additional hostages taken by Hamas during the attack on October 7. The deceased individuals are Haim Perry and Yoram Metzger, both aged 80, from Nir Oz; Amiram Cooper, aged 84, also from Nir Oz; and Nadav Popplewell, aged 51, from Nirim.

The confirmation of their deaths was based on intelligence and verified by a Health Ministry expert, in collaboration with the Religious Services Ministry and the Chief Rabbi of Israel.
