Australia has granted more visa applications for residents of Gaza in 10 months than the US has granted in twenty years – but it’s ‘racist’ to question why.

The Centre for Immigration Studies revealed in a recent report, the United States has granted fewer than 2100 refugee visas to Gazans since 2001.

Australian visas issued to Palestinians since the Hamas terrorist attacks in October last year, are now approaching 2900.

More are planned.

Parliament has been dominated with debate about national security failures in the processing of visas.

Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has questioned the process surrounding the selection of which Palestinians are being allowed into Australia – prompting accusations of racism from the Government, The Greens, and Teal MPs.

But One Nation leader Pauline Hanson told ADH Chris Smith Tonight, “I always question this and I support Peter Dutton doing this. It’s not racist it’s realist”.

“We have to bring in people that are compatible with our culture, our laws, and will be able to assimilate to become Australians.

“We can’t go making problems for our country further down the track”, Ms Hanson said.

“If you don’t believe me have a look at other countries around the world at where their multiculturalism is now and Australia is not far behind”, she told Chris Smith.

“Don’t go calling us racist for daring to question what’s best for Australia. Peter Dutton has taken a leadership position of what he feels should be done in the best interest for national security and for the country and for the people.

“People like the Prime Minister, (Immigration Minister) Tony Burke, or Zali Steggall have never put a proper argument about why we should be bringing so many from that place into Australia so far away”, Ms Hanson said.
